The New Juaben South Municipal Assembly warmly welcomed the Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Ebenezer Amoah, to the Assembly on Wednesday, August 13, 2026, for a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Municipal Assembly and the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council.

The Regional Coordinating Director was received by the Municipal Chief Executive of New Juaben South, Hon. Ransford Owusu Boakye. The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Johnson Nyarko, was also present to welcome Mr. Amoah and participate in the engagement.

The visit provided an important opportunity for the leadership of the Assembly and the Regional Coordinating Council to engage on matters concerning local governance, institutional coordination and the continued development of the New Juaben South Municipality.

As a key administrative and development institution within the Eastern Region, the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly recognises the importance of maintaining strong working relationships with the Regional Coordinating Council. Effective collaboration between the regional and municipal levels of administration remains essential to ensuring that development programmes and public services are delivered efficiently and in accordance with the needs and aspirations of residents.

The courtesy visit also underscored the shared commitment of both institutions to promoting effective coordination in the implementation of government policies and development initiatives within the municipality. Hon. Ransford Owusu Boakye, together with the management and staff of the Assembly, expressed appreciation to Mr. Ebenezer Amoah for the visit and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to working closely with the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council.

The presence of Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Johnson Nyarko further highlighted the importance of administrative coordination in supporting the work of the Assembly and ensuring that development priorities are effectively translated into programmes and services for the people.
